Janie and Mark’s boho wedding at The Arbory Chicago was beautifully put together, SO much fun, and everything that Janie and Mark had hoped for on their wedding day. For their wedding day, more than anything they wanted to put together a really beautiful experience for their guests while pairing it with some quality time for the two of them, and I think they were able to achieve this with their wedding day.
Chicago Wedding Planner
When arriving on their wedding day, everything was extremely organized and beautiful. Janie and Mark hired great wedding planners, the Urban Allure Events team, so when Janie, Mark, and their family and friends arrived on their wedding day, everything was already set up and taken care of. Their lead event planner Ellie was beyond helpful and was able to answer questions and direct the family and wedding party as we moved through the day.
Wedding at The Arbory Chicago
Janie and her bridesmaids had their hair and makeup done at a salon before arriving at The Arbory to put together the finishing touches. The Arbory has a great getting ready space that is perfect for one side of the wedding party to get ready. It has a ton of natural light and plenty of space for the final touches.
The Arbory uses the same space for the ceremony and reception, so the venue does a flip during cocktail hour. The space is beautiful though and we were able to use the space for their first look before heading outside to the back alley for wedding party photos and portraits.

Janie and Mark are some of the sweetest people I’ve had the pleasure of working with. Not only was their wedding at the Arbory beautiful, but they kept their day intimate and special by surrounding themselves with their closest loved ones. Knowing they wanted a lot of quality time on their wedding day too, they made sure to make time before their ceremony to spend some time together and made a LOT of time for portraits throughout their day. I LOVED working with these two, and I’m so happy I was able to be a part of their wedding day.
