Intimate Wedding at Foreman Pavilion | Colleen + Frank

Colleen and Frank’s intimate wedding at Foreman Pavilion was everything they hoped for from a wedding day.  Meeting later in life, Colleen and Frank were already surrounded by so many amazing people that love them so fiercely.  So when they came together to celebrate their wedding with some of their lifelong friends, kids and family, they went hard.

Rainy Day Wedding in Lincoln Park

Immediately upon arriving at Colleen and Franks wedding, the heavens opened up wide and POURED down on their wedding.  Their guests huddled under umbrellas walking through the rain to get to Foreman Pavilion to celebrate Colleen and Frank on their intimate wedding day.  One of the great parts about this rainy day for their wedding is that we basically had the entire park to ourselves once it started raining.  There was about a 20 minute window where the rain let up so the three of us walked around the park together to take some portraits of Colleen and Frank.

Colleen and Frank had mentioned that they needed a lot of help with posing, so I made sure that I was a little more hands-on with guiding them through their wedding portraits, while also giving them some small moments to just exist so I could still get some of their in-the-moment reactions to one another.

Intimate Wedding Reception at Foreman Pavilion

Colleen more than anything was ready to celebrate.  Though of course they loved their ceremony and their, dinner they were SO excited to socialize amongst their friends and family. Colleen especially was ready to hit the dance floor and literally dance till she couldn’t dance anymore.  Needless to say their intimate wedding reception at the Foreman Pavilion, and the day as a whole, was a total success! Rain and all!!
