Adela and Michael’s engagement session in Portage Park Chicago fit their love in every way. As vintage classic style lovers, Michael and Adela have a very specific vision for their winter engagement session. With outfits that reflect this love for vintage style, and a coffee shop filled with classic charm, it’s safe to say we achieved their vision!
Engagement Photos at Perkolator
We were so happy to find a cute little coffee shop in one of their favorite Chicago neighborhoods. Perkolator is a charming coffee shop in Chicago’s Portage Park and was the perfect space to start off their engagement session. We called Perkolator ahead of time asking if we could borrow their space while they prepared to open for their engagement photos which they gave us the all clear to do. We spent some time in their space documenting Adela and Michael’s love for one another. The vibes were warm and cozy while hanging out in the coffee shop before heading out into the cold to walk around the Portage Park neighborhood.
Engagement Session in Portage Park of Chicago
The actual park of Portage Park did not disappoint for Adela and Michael’s Chicago engagement session. With us having their session so early we basically had the park to ourselves which was wonderful. There was just a touch of frost on the ground, but even with the cold the three of us had a ton of fun running through the streets and exploring the park for their engagement session. Michael is a HUGE romantic and Adela has such an artistic eye, so collaborating with the two of them in documenting their love was a fun and exciting experience.
I’m so glad I was able to capture Adela and Michaels engagement session in their favorite neighborhood in Chicago, Portage Park. These two have a beautiful love for one another and chose equally beautiful locations to showcase that love.
