Miranda and Daniel’s couples session in Chicago’s Wicker Park was SO much fun to get creative with them.  Miranda and Daniel met during the pandemic and quickly fell in love.  This session actually marked one of their first anniversaries and I had so much fun documenting some of their love together.  They love Chicago, they’re both super creative with fashion, and they love art and culture, so we decided to get creative for their couples session and meet in Wicker Park.

Incorporating Props in Your Couples Session

For their couples session in Chicago, we decided to keep things simple but add just a little bit of spice, if you may.  I grabbed a handful of gypsophila to bring a little bit of flair to their photos.  When it comes to incorporating props into your couples session or engagement session I think it’s always important to remember that less is often more.  It’s easy to get excited and overdo things but keeping things simple will yield the best results.  Some props I’ve used in the past for couples sessions include:

• Cooking Supplies
• Pets
• Wine or Booze
• Food
• Or anything that has to do with an activity you and your partner enjoy together
