Erin and Mo’s summer wedding wedding at Ignite Glass Studio was nothing short of perfect. Erin and Mo are some of the most thoughtful people I have ever met and I feel so honored to have been able to be a part of their wedding day. One of the biggest parts of planning out their wedding day, Erin and Mo wanted to make sure they were present for the entire day. They didn’t want the distraction of formal photos or other modern wedding traditions to take them away from their soul focus, their family and loved ones.
Getting Ready for their Wedding at a Chicago Airbnb
Erin and Mo planned their wedding day perfectly. They had a vision for their wedding morning. The two of them had a plan to get ready surrounded by their friends and family in a cute Airbnb in Chicago. They found a great Airbnb building that had a top unit and a bottom unit and they were able to get both units so they had the building to themselves! Erin and her girls slept on the bottom floor while Mo and some of his groomsmen slept on the top floor the night before. Erin and Mo spent their morning together before going to their separate apartments to get ready for the rest of their wedding day.
An Intimate Wedding at Ignite Glass Studio
After getting ready for their wedding in their Chicago Airbnb, we walked over to Ignite Glass Studio for their ceremony and reception. When arriving at Ignite Glass Studio Erin and Mo greeted their loved ones and spent some time alone before their ceremony. They tucked themselves away as more and more guests arrived for their ceremony, mingling on the lawn outside of the glass studio. Their ceremony was so beautiful and heart-felt. Both having a background in the arts, they wrote absolutely beautiful vows to one another before sealing their ceremony with a kiss. There was not a dry eye in the space.
Chicago Outdoor Wedding Reception
The rest of their wedding night was a dream. We moved onto the rooftop of Ignite Glass Studio for their cocktail hour where two of their best friends started off the evening giving toasts to the newlyweds before just mixing and mingling while the sunset over the city. Erin and Mo were able to talk to each of their guests and spend quality time with one another before heading downstairs to the food truck to grab dinner. The rest of the night was full of more toasts from loved ones, yard games, and a live performance from the phenomenal wedding band with TONS of dancing.
