There’s nothing I love more than working together with a couple to create a session that is unique to them. That is exactly what we did with this Wicker Park Couples Session. Miranda and Daniel are some of the coolest people I’ve ever met. Their passions include traveling, thrifting, decorating their absolutely beautiful Wrigleyville Apartment, and taking care of their fur babies. Miranda and Daniel have now done THREE sessions with me, yes that is correct! They are always down for trying new things and I am eternally grateful to them for letting me experiment and create with them.
Photos in Wicker Park
For Miranda and Daniels couples session we decided to start in Wicker Park. I brought a picnic blanket and some snacks and a shi* ton of babies breath. Then these two awesome humans met me in Wicker Park one of the last weekends in August. I knew that it would probably be crowded throughout the city so we scheduled our session for a weeknight. That way we could dodge some of the crowds.
We set up a picnic right on the edge of the park and got to know each other a bit before starting our session. Miranda and Daniel actually met during the pandemic right at the start of it all. I can’t even imagine starting a relationship at the start of c*vid, but these two absolutely adore each other and you can tell in their photos.
After taking some photos in the park we walked along some of the bustling streets of Wicker Park checking out the nightlife and stopping to play in some of the neon lights that line Wicker Parks streets.
How to Schedule a Creative Couples Session
Miranda and Daniel’s session was SO much fun. I know a lot of other couples would love to have creative photos but aren’t sure where to start when planning a session. Well first things first, send over an inquiry. In your inquiry form when I ask about you, describe what you and your partner(s) are inspired by. If you have a vision in mind mention it in the inquiry form. Once we have a date reserved, we can talk about a vision or create one just for you!
